Service Elevator

When moving in or out of Stonebrook, you need to reserve the Service Elevator. This will ensure that an exclusive use elevator is available for your move.

Our Service Elevator is fully protected with padded drapes, rear and front door access, accessibility through a large indoor Moving Room that has double doors to a dedicated loading area parking. This arrangement significantly reduces your move being affected by weather conditions.

Moving hours are restricted to Monday – Saturday, 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. and can be reserved in 3 hour increments. Moves are not allowed on statutory holidays and Sundays.

Prior to and after the move, an inspection will be made of the hallway, elevator and moving room. This will ensure that any pre-existing damages will not be unjustly identified as resulting from your move. Once the move and inspection are complete, and no evidence of damage is noted, the security deposit will be returned.

The Service Elevator may be reserved online or through the Concierge Desk. A Security Deposit cheque, payable to PSCC 888 for $500.00, is required soon after a reservation is made.

Residents booking the Service Elevator online can alternatively pay the Security Deposit using a credit card.

If the reservation is cancelled then the above-mentioned cheques will be returned.

Deliveries

Large deliveries such as furniture or appliances will also require the use and reservation of the Service Elevator. The reservation rules for deliveries are the same as for moving. Residents must be present for their deliveries or the Concierge are required to refuse delivery.

The Service Elevator can be reserved for deliveries as follows:
Monday – Saturday (9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.) – maximum 3 hour increment
Sunday and Statutory Holidays (10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.) – 1 hour increment
